Welcome. For years I have enjoyed creating healing and invigorating products for myself when I couldn't find what I was looking for in the market.

 

For instance, since childhood most-likely, I have had a strong allergy to the toxic chemicals that are found in 'normal' perfumes, room scents, air fresheners, deodorant, and detergents. Over time I began to understand that my symptoms were caused by the products I was using. But I wanted to smell good! So, I started making my own mists, deodorants and room sprays... often, when I hug people they say 'Oh! You smell so good!' Because of this response, I began making perfumes for friends as presents. There has been such an interest from friends that I would love to share these creations  with more people.

I have a great passion for co-creating (with my garden, with the living fire in my wood stove, with music and chants that raise frequencies) consciously made products that will nourish and bring joy to my life, and to anyone who wants the 'medicine' contained in them.

Here's another example: we Americans enjoy a soft drink called Root Beer (non-alcholic), which has its 'roots' in traditional herbal medicine that used herbs like sarsaparilla and sassafras, and roots like ginger and burdock, to create a healing concoction to support the body when someone was ill. Over time this popular tonic developed into a soda like coke, and the flavors became synthesized and the soda sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, removing the medicinal quality. But it still tastes great. When I brought my partner to the States for a visit many years ago, he fell in love with Root Beer. He tried to find it here in the Netherlands, but no luck. And there was no way for me to transport it from the states whenever I would visit (you can't bring anything carbonated onto a plane). So, I eventually looked up traditional herbal recipes, and started to attempt to create my own Root Beer; I wanted it to taste amazing but have the original medicinal value. After years of experimenting, my family has agreed I have the perfect recipe. Who would think teenage kids would be begging for a medicinal syrup mixed with carbonated water as a treat?!

The products and prices below are the items available now for pick up in Wormerveer, or for delivery, with added shipping fee of €7. The perfumes and salve are also available for sale at a another price in Wormerveer at the shop La Sourire. Personalized scents can also be ordered for an additional fee of €5.
